UCI Cycling for All Award – International Recognition
In 2025, Limitless received international recognition at the Union Cycliste Internationale Cycling for All Awards, winning the global Cycling for All award.
For me, this was more than an accolade - it was validation that the work to embed disability inclusion into the fabric of cycling is not only impactful nationally, but recognised on the world stage.
To see a programme designed to break down barriers for disabled riders celebrated internationally was a proud moment. It affirmed that inclusion, when approached strategically and systemically, is not a side project - it is leadership.
This milestone represents the collective effort of riders, clubs, partners and colleagues - and reinforces my commitment to driving inclusive culture change in sport.
Innovative Partnerships: Creating a Blueprint for Success
In Burnley, I led a transformative initiative that tripled local investment in inclusive cycling through strategic stakeholder engagement. By collaborating with local authorities, the local leisure trust, and community organisations, I helped create sustainable opportunities for disabled people to access and enjoy cycling. This success has become a blueprint for replicating inclusive cycling models in other regions, demonstrating the power of partnership and community-driven change.
